This week we are celebrating the 100th day of school! Instead of just celebrating it on the 100th day, we decided that there were just too many fun activities for just one day.
Today we started with reading a book about the 100th day and 100th day collections, "100th Day Worries" by Margery Cuyler. (Always a favorite of mine.)
We then did a writing prompt centered on "If I had $100, I would buy...", as part of a week long writing project/book "The 100 Book". Thank you to Megan Triplett for the free download of your cute book! 100th Day of School Book
We finished the day creating a 100 monster. They turned out adorable! This activity worked on following verbal directions, counting and drawing 10 objects and finally counting groups of 10 to make 100. Thank you to School and the City for the awesome idea!
